-Mention the word "communist"
-Bring up the road construction on I-(insert any highway number here)
-Ask them what they think of Donald Trump
-Show them how ridiculous a bald eagle looks from the front versus a side profile
-Tell them you hate BBQ
-At any point during a conversation say "it's not your fault, your public education system failed you."
-Tell a millennial or Gen Z that college is "free" in Germany and other countries
-Remind them that the Soviet Union was their ally in World War II
-With great confidence, "inform" them that the US is converting to the metric system by the end of Fiscal Year 2020 (because that sounds more legit)
-and finally, take their plastic straws away. there are plenty of americans who support this and i said i would keep it non-partisan, but i've been involved in 5 conversations just this week with people complaining about the cardboard straws DC now has in place of plastic straws.

Also, side note, the majority of Americans DO want increased gun control measures. The polls ebb and flow depending on when the last mass shooting was/how severe it was/how prominently it was covered, but Gallup Poll is well-respected and this article includes some historical data https://news.gallup.com/poll/243797/six-americans-support-stricter-gun-laws.aspx

Hi! I'm Kelly and I am an American who lived in Germany for 18 wonderful months. While I lived abroad before in Turkey and had done quite a bit of traveling beforehand, those 18 months in Germany definitely broadened my perspective of Germany, Europe, and even the US in so many different ways! I wanted to share my perceptions with you guys through YouTube so that maybe you can gain context to things you've heard about, or learn new information or a different perspective, or maybe this is everything you've heard before and further confirms your world view. No matter what the reason, I hope that you enjoy my videos! Don't forget to subscribe to my channel and turn on notifications so that you always know when I'm posting new content :)

It seems that I have inadvertently become an expert at pissing off Germans.Check out the video to learn all of the opinions I've learned are unpopular in Germany.

My most viewed and most hated video: https://youtu.be/tlJ8BNUXYD0

How to piss off Americans (I tried to keep it non-partisan and non-region specific):
-Tell them they can't rightfully call themselves "Americans" or their country "America"
