Bull Elk Chases Man in Downtown Banff Canada

As we arrived into the beautiful town of Banff, Canada, we saw a huge majestic Bull Elk guarding his turf, and happened to see some tourists walk up close to take photos. There were numerous warning signs posted indicating that Elk were especially dangerous at this time of year during the rutting season, and to keep your distance from them. We were just enjoying watching this Elk from our car, when along comes another tourist, this time a little bit too close. The Elk felt threatened, turned around, and started chasing the man, so much so that the man even dodged out into the busy road to regain safety. If he wasn't able to escape the way he did, he quite possibly could have been gored or trampled.
