Color smoke bomb(cheap)- Indian version

Now you can easily make a smoke bomb at home. This formula produces billowing colored smoke. In this video we made purple color smoke bomb, but you can use any dye color you wish....

THINGS YOU NEED:
*40g (2 tablespoons) of POTASSIUM CHLORATE (sold as saltpeter in garden supply shops)
(for Indians- You can find it as (potaas) used for making crackers on local kirana store. Don't mix it with Sulphur (gandhak). )
*60g(3 tablespoons) of SUGAR (easily available at home)
*80g(4 tablespoons) of RHODAMINE B (DYE) (found in laundry sections of the store as well as craft & hobby shops)
(for Indians- this dye is widely used in holi festival's color. Don't use GULAL it doesn't work.)
4g (1 teaspoon) of BAKING SODA (easily available in kitchen)
(for Indians- it is also known as KHANA SODA. Don't use baking powder.)
*FIREFUSE(scavenge it form a firework)

MAKING THE MIXTURE
* take all of these and blend it in a blender.

CONSTRUCTING THE COLOR SMOKE BOMB
1. Fill the mixture in any paper tube and wrap it with duct tape.
2. Insert fire fuse in it.


Light your smoke bomb. Use a lighter to light the fuse of your smoke bomb. Do so outside because the smoke will billow out of your bomb quickly as soon as the fuse burns down enough.

Tips

•Know your local laws about fireworks/smoke bombs.
•Keep water nearby in case of errant flames.

Warnings

•Oxidizers and fireworks can be dangerous. Use extreme caution.
