風箏衝浪旗津 Kitesurfing Cijin island (Kaohsiung/Taiwan) [Gopro]

Cijin island is a district of Kaohsiung city (Taiwan) and it is accessed from the mainland by ferry (pedestrians, bicycles, motorbikes) at the north tip, or by car through the "Cross Harbor Tunnel" at the south tip. Kitesurfing is possible at the beach located in front of the Cijin Shell Museum, few kilometers South of the ferry terminal. The best wind conditions are South-Southeast, during summer. Large breaking waves and strong riptides make the waters dangerous at times. Caution is advised.
