Announcement from PAL:

"In line with the latest resolution of the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Infectious Diseases (IATF) allowing only essential travelers in and out of the National Capital Region from March 22 to April 4, Philippine Airlines will only carry passengers traveling for non-leisure purposes between Manila and domestic stations within the said period.
Domestic leisure travelers affected by these restrictions may avail of any of the following options:
1. Convert your ticket to a travel voucher (before expiry date of ticket)
2. Avail of unlimited rebooking (no rebooking fee) until December 31, 2021. If you will be completing your travel in the same booking class by June 30, 2021 (or ticket validity, whichever comes first), there will be no fare difference charge.
3. Refund your ticket without penalties.
If you are already in a domestic destination and wish to return home, you may do so during this period.
If you are a Returning Overseas Filipino (ROF), Locally Stranded Individual ( LSI) or Authorized Person Outside of Residence (APOR), PAL will accept you on flights, provided that you secure all requirements by your LGU.
Essential travelers must present valid identification showing proof of residence, on top of other requirements of their respective LGUs.

Philippines Retracts Travel Ban on Returning Overseas Filipinos (NON-OFWs). Foreign Nationals still not allowed with some exceptions. The government blames the sudden surge of COVID 19 cases including the new UK variants, South African Variants, and Brazilian variant cases being imported into the Philippines by travelers abroad. The Department of National Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana already signed the memorandum circular and the implementation will take effect from March 22 to April 21.

Days earlier, the Philippine Government directs all International flight carriers flying to the Manila Philippines to limit the number of passengers allowed to enter the country due to the continuing rise in corona virus new cases. If you are an OFW or NON OFW returning to the Philippines in the next days until April 21, 2021, you are advised to stay tuned for the advise of your airlines if your flight is affected, delayed or rerouted.
