When you buy miners, you are buying the value of the gold in the ground and the ones I'm buying can pull gold out of the ground about half the cost of spot price. As gold spot price increases the value of the gold in the ground increases but also the profitability of the company tremendously increases. So much income is generated share price and dividends go thru the roof. During the last currency reset from 1970 to 1980 physical precious metals increased 10-15x and precious metal miners increased 40 to 100 times in value because of this inherent leverage. I own 40,000 shares spread across about 20 miners. Dividends in the great depression averaged over $70/share. Inflation adjusted dividends would be $1339. If you multiply that times 40,000 shares you get nearly $53.6 million. This would go a long ways to pay for real estate taxes, mortgages, insurance, utilities, food, etc..
