Welcome to episode 2 of Climate Brief, an Ecosia series on how to navigate the era of climate change. In this episode we selected the three most important climate policies to keep watching out for in 2021. Of course, for brevity, we omitted many other relevant climate news of 2021, but let us know in the comments what you think other big stories will be.
00:34 COP26
02:10 National COVID recovery funds
02:38 Environmental defenders
A big thank you to Chris Madden from Global Witness for the interview. Go check the important work they do.

Since the coronavirus pandemic broke out, it has taken over the news, but global warming kept happening anyway. In this episode we looked into the biggest climate change news of 2021. Of course, there are many more things happening, but in 2021 there are some big things on the horizon in terms of climate change action that you need to pay attention to.
Is 2021 going to be the year the world finally gets serious about climate change? Maybe. Some other political events you need to be aware of this year are the Biden Climate plan or the Chinese energy policy.
