In this instalment of the WDI 2020 webinar series, we will discussed and deconstructed the concept of a ‘Just Transition’ and what it means for investors and companies.
We were very lucky to be joined by two WDI allies and knowledge partners in the field of corporate responsibility, workers rights and ESG investing: Anthony Toppi, Senior Manager Company Network at Ceres and Alison Tate, Director of Economic and Social Policy, ITUC. Together they answer questions on how Covid-19 has changed the corporate reporting landscape and shifted priorities from ‘E’ to ‘S’, what a Just transition means in practice and how it impacts key workers, and practical steps companies can take to prepare for a low carbon future.
