In the spring of 2020, the 1855 team was invited to help Mrs. Temple’s third grade class from Bridgewater Elementary School during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mrs. Temple’s son, Sam Temple, is one of the hosts of 1855 with Logan Ledman. She invited the two of them to share stories from history local to Northfield, Minnesota.

1855 shares Minnesota history stories in short documentaries aired on local public television stations. They began focusing on stories from Faribault, and have expanded their range to Rice County and greater Minnesota.

If you would like Sam and Logan to visit your class (of any age) please reach out! These stories can be adapted to fit elementary, middle, and high school--and beyond!
