Learn how the development team is improving and evolving Battlefield 2042 with the launch of Season 3: Escalation and beyond.

With the upcoming Update 3.2, the Class system of previous Battlefield games will return, as we rework the game’s Specialist system.

During the Season, the Manifest and Breakaway maps will be reworked. These battlefields have been given an overhaul to receive more cover and an overall improved flow throughout.

In December, following the launch of Season 3, limited-time Free Access periods will let new players hit the battlefield. Even more No-Pats will deploy when Battlefield 2042 becomes available to EA Play members and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate owners.
