The first session of ISSUP Nigeria's Knowledge Update Series focuses on experiences and challenges in delivering drug demand reduction interventions during the COVID-19 pandemic, capacity building on evidence-based substance abuse prevention and treatment interventions, and the way forward.

Panelists:
1. Dr. Oliver Stolpe - UNODC Country Representative in Nigeria
He has been serving as UNODC’s Representative in Nigeria since late 2018. Joined UNODC in 1999 as an anti-corruption expert and helped in establishing its Global Programme against Corruption as well as its Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative where he served as Senior Legal Advisor from 2012-2014. Since then, he has served in different capacities. He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Würzburg in Germany.

2. Joyce Oluwatoyin Titus-Awogbuyi - Director, Drug Demand Reduction
National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)
Holds a B.Sc. degree in Sociology and M.Ed (Guidance & Counselling) with over 30 years of experience in drug control particularly in drug demand reduction

3. Dr. Salaudeen Olawale Jimoh - Director in charge of Drug Demand Reduction/Harm Reduction, Federal Ministry of Health

4. Dr. William Nkereuwem Ebiti
