The Cardano development team will implement a system that will allow smart contracts written in the Solidity programming language to run on the cryptocurrency network. Within a compatible virtual machine KEthereum (KEVM) will implement a networked system that can recognize Solidity-based programs and automatically compile them to assembler (convert to machine language).
