COVID-19: Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte offers to be 'guinea pig' for Russian vaccine

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has said he will be a "guinea pig" for a controversial Russian vaccine for COVID-19. Manila said it will participate in clinical trials and production of the drug, with scientists meeting Russian drug developer Gamaleya. Called Sputnik Five, the vaccine was given approval by Russian authorities after less than two months of human testing. Professor Danny Altmann from Imperial College London shared his thoughts on vaccine development.
