GERHARD AND CO. SINCE 1881 - LEFT PEDAL WORKS SIMILAR TO A GRAND PIANO: Demo of a German Ancient piano Th Gerhardt, Berlin (Ober Dämpfer). A very very old piano 130 years old+.
Gerhardt & Co. were already around in 1881, and were piano makers at 54 Fruchstrasse in 1928. After pressing left pedal the action works similar to a grand - moves to the right so one string becomes free of striking, the only two strings hit by the hammers
