The member states of the European Union are reportedly expressing dissatisfaction about delays in the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines from AstraZeneca and Pfizer.
On Saturday, Italy's Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, accused AstraZeneca of a "serious contractual violation" and has threated legal action against it and Pfizer.
In Italy's case, AstraZeneca confirmed that it would be getting 3-point-4 million doses in the first quarter less than half what was planned.
Vaccinations have been suspended not only in parts of Italy, but in Poland, Germany and Spain, while other regions are having to slow down.
