Grateful for the love, but former National Youth Football Coach Nigel Grosvenor is in the fight of his life after both he and his wife tested Positive for COVID-19.

More popularly known as "Grovey," the former St. Anthony's College coach was admitted to the Couva Hospital on the weekend and is among the hundreds currently in the Ministry of Health's system.

Particularly worrying for the coach, who also guided the fortunes of Queen's Royal College the last three years after leaving St. Anthony's, is the fact that he is a recovering cancer patient, which places him in a particularly high risk group where COVID-19 is concerned.

Grosvenor left St. Anthony's College as their winningest coach, counting five National Intercol and two National League titles. He also guided the fortunes of 2006 World Cup stars Carlos Edwards and Kenwyne Jones, who both plied their trade in the English Premiership, as well as Evans Wise, who made a name for himself in Germany.
