On 20 August 2020 we organised an online book launch: 'Globalance. Actions for a Balanced World Post-COVID' with an international panel of experts to discuss and answer some of the following questions and the application of Christoph Stückelberger's latest book on the current situation with COVID-19.
• How can we transform current disruptions, polarizations and imbalances in the world into a new dynamic world order and global balance?
• How can ethics contribute to this transition with a balance of values and virtues?
• How can we effect needed change in our current conditions in the world post-Covid?
The panel was composed by:
• Prof. Dr Dr h.c. Christoph Stückelberger, Author of the book GlobalanceGeneva. Balancing opposite values and virtues. The concept of Globalance
• Prof. Dr Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker, Former Co-President of the Club of Rome and author of the Preface of the book Globalance, Germany. Globalance: Come on! Let us Build Coalitions and Networks
• Doris Leuthard, Former Minister of Environment of the Government of Switzerland, President of the new Swiss Digital Initiative FoundationSwitzerland. The Role of Bridge Builders like Switzerland in promoting a Balanced World
• Prof. Dr Liu Baocheng, Prof. of International Economics and Ethics,Advisor to the Chinese Delegation of Trade Negotiations with the USA, China. Are there Solutions for Globalance in US-China-Relations?
• Dr Mariana Bozesan, Founder/CEO Aqal Capital and author of Integral Investing, Germany. Globalance: Why Integral Investing?
• Dr Pavan Duggal, International Cyber Law Expert, Advocate Supreme Court of India, India. How to reach Globalance in polarized Cyber Technologies and for Cyber Security?
