In this video, I discuss two hedges (gold and bitcoin) against central bank inflationary monetary policy, and try to decide which is better.

While gold has a storied history and is less volatile than Bitcoin, gold also has less potential upside, and is less easy to assay, subdivide, store, and send across the globe without censorship. The fact that most gold is held by the world's central banks complicates things for goldbugs.

Bitcoin is much more scarce than gold (which is found in abundance in the solar system) and will soon have a higher stock to flow than gold.

I conclude by discussing generational turnover and how Millennials and Generation Z prefer Bitcoin over gold.
