Fix Gotham Knights Error A call to a D3D12 API Failed with D3D HRESULT error code: 887A0005 DXGI ERROR DEVICE_ REMOVED DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
Step 1) Restart the game
Step 2) Do a clean installation of graphics driver

Step 3) Install recommended AMD drivers 22.5.1
Step 4) Roll back graphics driver (517.48)
Step 5) Disable the steam overlay, disable Overlay in Adrenaline software (In AMD software app, click settings (in the top right corner), click on preferences, then de-select in-game overlay option), close all the overlay application
Step 6) Try this in launch options
-force-d3d11
Step 7) Install DirectX

Step 8) Turn off Raytracing, turn off DLSS, turn off Bloom, disable ambient occlusion, put Effects Quality and Post Processing Quality to Medium, switch to windowed mode, disable AMD FSR, disable motion blur
Step 9) Open Task Manager/Details tab/Find Gotham knight, Right click it and set affinity then tick All cores
Step 10) Update system BIOS
Step 11) Install the latest visual C++ files

Step 12) Allow game exe file to the antivirus program or Windows Security
Step 13) Verify the game files
Step 14) Run the game as an administrator (Epic Games launcher users skip this step this may result in LS-0013 error)
Step 15) Laptop users with dual graphics card: Run the game on dedicated graphics card.
Step 16) Increase the Virtual Memory
View Advanced system settings
Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram
Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram
Step 17) Close all the overclocking apps, disconnect multiple monitors, unplug all the USB devices, Logitech wheel, joystick, Razer Tartarus gamepad, vjoy, Turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, end nahimic services & lightingservice.exe in task manager, remove the undervolt
Step 18) Uninstall and reinstall the game to different drive (SSD)
