Local history enthusiast Alan Wenham presents the fascinating story of the creation and evolution of the village and green space of Hampden Park, now part of the Borough of Eastbourne, the East Sussex seaside town.

This presentation was given live on the Zoom platform to an viewing audience of members of the Eastbourne Local History Society on 2 February 2021.as one of the regular monthly talks, not able to be given in person due to the ongoing Covid 19 quarantine restrictions.

This is the first presentation hosted here for the ELHS and it is hoped to post more in the coming months.
