How to make 100k as a new business.

Building A Small Business

Are you feeling the economic and emotional pinch?

The brutality, the racism, the protests, and conversation around systemic racism has raised even more questions about economic equality and progress.

It is imperative that we have conversations about the real economic challenges black, brown, and minority communities face today and have faced for decades.

It’s time to talk about ownership, control, and how to build generational wealth.
In an interview with Arielle Loren Founder of 100kincubator.

We’ll talk about what it’s going to take to survive the economy during the pandemic, how to find funding to help us sustain, and how to position ourselves as a small business to take advantage of the downturn.

[BIO]

Silva Harapetian is an Emmy nominated journalist, award-winning producer and Amazon Best Selling Author.

She has spent 22 years in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
Born in Iran, a Christian-Armenian, she witnessed a revolution, lived through a devastating war, and escaped terrifying political and religious persecution.
She started her first business at the age of 13 in Germany when she used waitressing tips to buy and sell celebrity posters.

In the United States, as a teenager in high school, she stumbled into a leadership role representing ESL (English As A Second Language) student body. She became the conduit for underrepresented student voices and discovered the power of stories and building relationships.

After graduating from the University of Southern California with a Communications degree, she spent years fighting for an opportunity in broadcast journalism. For someone who's English is her 4th language to want to pursue a career in broadcast journalism, many said, she lacked common sense and that she did not fit the proverbial image of a TV journalist.

It took almost a decade but Silva was finally able to pave a path to stardom as one of the first Armenian-Iranian-Americans in the broadcast news industry.

Silva has worked as an award-winning journalist for CBS, ABC, and NBC and FOX affiliates across the country.

She is a television personality who was featured in online and print magazines as well as television and radio shows, globally including NBC’s “The Today Show” with Kathie Lee & Hoda and syndicated talk show, “The Nate Berkus Show.”

In 2018, after 22-years in broadcast news, she launched her own production company helping entrepreneurs amplify their message and impact. She launched her first project by producing, directing and hosting an online web series called “An Entrepreneur’s Journey,” a raw and rare behind the scenes look at the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.

In 2020, the web series received "The Communicator Award" honoring work that transcends innovation and craft — work that made a lasting impact.

Her life’s work is to help anyone with a message amplify their impact in the world by teaching them how to use the power of their voice to broadcast their story and become an influence in life and business.

She is an expert communicator, speaker, coach, producer, and Amazon Best Selling Author.

Silva Harapetian is a powerful influencer and public speaker on the topic of media, diversity, and the power of story in business and life.

Silva is the founder of Media Mastery Institute where she teaches women entrepreneurs how to position themselves and their business to gain media attention.

She is the CEO of Silva Media Group, a production company that is committed to producing content for minority and socially conscious entrepreneurs.

She is the host of Epic Storytelling Series, an interview-style talk show that focuses on immigrants and minority success stories — ordinary people living extraordinary lives.
