How to sell during a pandemic on social media.
These are some sensitive times. People are getting sick, they are losing family members to a COVID-19, thousands are furloughed or have lost their jobs. That, added to the civil unrest and the social injustice protests. It's a challenging time for many businesses that rely on advertising to sell their products and services - especially those that are not a necessity.
The question is when it appropriate to sell again?
Arielle Loren founder of 100K Incubator says it's always appropriate to sell as you are not tone deaf. It's important to acknowledge what's happening in the world around us. It's also an opportunity for businesses to show goodwill in their communities.

Silva Harapetian is an Emmy nominated journalist, award-winning producer, and Amazon Best Selling Author.
She has spent 22 years in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
Born in Iran, a Christian-Armenian, she witnessed a revolution, lived through a devastating war, and escaped terrifying political and religious persecution.
She started her first business at the age of 13 in Germany when she used waitressing tips to buy and sell celebrity posters.
In the United States, as a teenager in high school, she stumbled into a leadership role representing ESL (English As A Second Language) student body. She became the conduit for underrepresented student voices and discovered the power of stories and building relationships.
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a Communications degree, she spent years fighting for an opportunity in broadcast journalism. For someone who's English is her 4th language to want to pursue a career in broadcast journalism, many said, she lacked common sense and that she did not fit the proverbial image of a TV journalist.
It took almost a decade but Silva was finally able to pave a path to stardom as one of the first Armenian-Iranian-Americans in the broadcast news industry.
Silva has worked as an award-winning journalist for CBS, ABC, and NBC and FOX affiliates across the country.
She is a television personality who was featured in online and print magazines as well as television and radio shows, globally including NBC’s “The Today Show” with Kathie Lee & Hoda and syndicated talk show, “The Nate Berkus Show.”
In 2018, after 22-years in broadcast news, she launched her own production company helping entrepreneurs amplify their message and impact. She launched her first project by producing, directing and hosting an online web series called “An Entrepreneur’s Journey,” a raw and rare behind the scenes look at the highs and lows of entrepreneurship.
In 2020, the web series received "The Communicator Award" honoring work that transcends innovation and craft — work that made a lasting impact.
Her life’s work is to help anyone with a message amplify their impact in the world by teaching them how to use the power of their voice to broadcast their story and become an influence in life and business.
She is an expert communicator, speaker, coach, producer, and Amazon Best Selling Author.
