HUMAN SIGNS MANTRA

Human Signs unites great protagonists of the contemporary dance and Ballet scene, vocal soloists from all around the globe, including carriers of ancient traditions, contemporary and experimental pioneers, religious representatives from every faith. All united in a participatory art project that from Milan connects the entire world to share - at the times of COVID-19 - the HUMAN SIGNS, presented online through a series of weekly audiovisual creations (every Tuesday at youtube.com/yuvalavital) - each one introduced by a different curator - interpreting the viral aesthetic as a multimedia choir of vulnerability, spirituality, inner strength, hopes and fears.

Human Signs returns with its Tuesday’s appointment, a great ending of the first phase of Yuval Avital’s participatory artwork, introduced by the artist itself and with a chorus of 19 great artists, with the participation of foremost figures of the world of ballet and music, such as Anna Maria Prina, former director of Accademia scuola di ballo del Teatro alla Scala, Lisa Sokolov, amongst the leading voices of experimental Jazz, Sainkho Namtchylak, one of the greatest living singers of overtone and extended vocal techniques, bringing together the Tuvian cultural tradition with experimental music, avant-guarde jazz and electronics, Christian Fagetti, solo dancer at Teatro alla Scala, together with dancers, choreographers and singers from Italy, USA, Germany, Indonesia, Canada, Argentina, Syria. The eight multimedia chapter closes the series of the weekly ensembles, opening the second fase of Human Signs, that in July will present the new format of the “Constellations”, in which the art testimonies will be shared through the creations of solos, dialogues and polyphonies, in communication within each other and/or with Human Signs mantra.
