The Jeffery Family sold their Brisbane home of 25 years to take their children on a spectacular sailing trip around the world. They bought a Hanse 418 yacht in Germany, took the kids out of school and were weeks away from flying to Griefswald
to meet her, when Covid-19 stopped them in their tracks. A year of waiting for the world to right itself, but when it didn’t, they took hold of the reins of their lives again, and invested in the shipment of their boat to their home port of Brisbane. In early February 2021, they received word of the mighty Titus’ arrival at the port of Brisbane. On board, was their future. Their yacht had done the exact same route the Jefferys had planned in doing the year before. All alone without them. So they called her SOLO. Hanse Solo.
