Proof of Stake and Proof of Work compete to secure trillion dollars of networks, but are they secure or susceptible to attacks?
As Ethereum moves to ETH 2.0 it transitions from Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stake (PoS) and some people are skeptical if Proof of Stake is secure and can PoS be attacked. Any network can be attacked, and security is never certain. Both PoS and PoW have probabilistic security which is never certain.
This presentation will discuss some pertinent peculiarities in Proof of Work and Proof of Stake consensus mechanisms. It will cover the current state of Proof of Work and Proof of Stake blockchains. Discuss some
