The Brotherhood of Black Hats dominates steam punk territory and the developer-created world. Well-drawn backgrounds will change depending on the level and progress, and the player will be able to go through the entire story of the platformer with a side view- Machinarium - for the little robot Josef, who went to rescue his friend Bertha.

Machinarium is a city in which there is no place for faulty robots, so Joseph is thrown into a junkyard, from where he must get out and return to the city in order to secretly steal Bertha. The entire Black Hats clan is a kind of terrorist group that has taken over the city and the governor. The main character must not only save the city, but also steal Bertha, the Governor, deal with the management of the Black Hats, put the entire existence of a gloomy and dark Machinarium on the line.

As in typical platform games, the protagonist will be able to jump, run in different directions, but still head in the direction indicated by the location and the linearity of the plot. On his way there will be different opponents that can only be skipped.

The entire plot of the game is built on puzzles, of which there are more than enough in the project. Since the whole world of robots consists of mechanisms, then get ready for an abundance of gears and arrows! There will be no boring and long dialogues in the game. A short and understandable thought will be captured in the "cloud" that we are used to seeing in comics.
