It’s been more than a year since the first case of COVID-19 was identified in the United States. We may feel the only certainty in the past year has been the uncertainty of how the virus will dictate our lives next. Thankfully, guidance from state and local leaders and healthcare professionals has provided us the ability to respond safely in our workplaces and personal lives. As we move into the vaccination phase of the pandemic, we continue to look to these trusted partners for guidance on continued safety.

On March 8, speakers and panelists from the state and local institutions addressed questions around the vaccine and the strategies developing to meet the needs of our community. Speakers included:

-Dr. John Raymond, president & CEO, Medical College of Wisconsin
- John Daniels, Chairman Emeritus, Quarles & Brady
- Secretary Karen Timberlake, Wisconsin Department of Health Services
- Mara Lord, Senior Vice President, Medical College of Wisconsin
- Cristy Garcia-Thomas, Chief External Affairs Officer, Advocate Aurora Health

Join us for a discussion on the rollout plan as directed by the state, the flexibility to create procedures at a local level, how quickly we expect to have herd immunity, how to promote vaccine confidence within varied demographics, and what the business community can do to help ensure that vaccine strategies are carried out efficiently.
