Our post-pandemic work force in the live music business will return to work with potential financial or mental health struggles. There also may be fewer candidates to work in live music if the pause on touring causes people to shift careers. As a result of these factors, leadership in live music will need to adapt. This session will address what leadership should look like in this new era and how to best support and elevate the individuals and businesses for the live music industry.
This session is moderated by MEIEA board members Gloria Green (MTSU, Entrepreneur, frmr WME) and Ulf Oesterle (Syracuse University).
Featured panelists:
Jen Kellogg (Columbia College, Vans Warped Tour, Entertainment Institute)
Jim Digby (Show Makers, Event Safety Alliance)
David ‘5-1’ Norman (Tour Production: John Legend, Alicia Keys)
