Our regular JAW programming might still be on hiatus, but we’ve given our space over to two special artists-in-residence who have spent the last month making magic in Judson’s quieter-than-usual-but-still-bursting-with-creativity Meeting Room. Join Galen Bremer and Zoe Rabinowitz this Wednesday as they unveil MY FUTURE IS TURTLE II. The video will premier above at 8PM. Afterwords we invite you to join us for a talkback via Zoom.

ABOUT THE ART:

My Future is Turtle began as an exploration of - and meditation on - the nature of reality. Using improvisation and chance, the work was originally inspired by fields of study such as quantum theory, tarot, Buddhism, and genealogy. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and prolonged isolation, this research has turned towards the ways in which we make meaning through and within our relationships.
