Burst yest of lithium battery 21700 size, described as "Panasonic" and "screened from Tesla".
Purchased some time ago from Chinese supplier, price is very good.
I hardly can reliably verify the claim about connection with Tesla or whether this cell was really manufactured in Panasonic factory, but what's important is performance and whether it can deliver promised capacity, power and reliability.
About reliability... that only time will tell, but so far (using couple months) of installed ~20% from 900 pcs supply batch, no single cell failure yet.
Capacity is described as 4700mAh, 15mR resistance. According testing by Liitokala lii-500, ZB2L3 and XY-FZ35 electronic load - capacity is correct.
Here is short video from testing for delivery 20A current, that's 4C (actually 4.3C) for short time, repeated couple times one after another and in period 5-15sec discharge.
Before test, I discharge crll with 10A, 12.5A and 15A current, each time for one minute.
That's why cell is not in full SoC and counter show some accumulated numbers.
Cell get only slightly warm and after test was charged back to full capacity and again delivered promised capacity without overheating or any issue.
Conclusion after this test - AWESOME CELL!!!
