The New Kibbutz Program has been successfully accommodating students from Germany at Israeli startups since 2015. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current travel restriction, we have decided to start promoting remote internships in order to give students the opportunity to still pursue their internship with an Israeli company despite travel restrictions.

The Israeli startup Placense shows us how it's done! Placense has been part of the internship program for over three years now, and is writing unique success stories as three of it's previous interns are still working for the startup remotely. Also, Placense is the first participating company that has taken in a remote intern. This clip features a short interview with:

Dan Gildoni, CEO & Founder of Placense
Liron Koll, Online Content & Project Manager at AHK Israel
Jacqueline Pöppe, previous intern and current Content Creator at Placense
Jan Bahrenhoff, previous intern & current Customer Success Manager at Placense
Max Lenzen, previous intern and current Data Protection Officer at Placense
Andra Richter, first candidate to pursue a remote internship via the New Kibbutz Program at Placense
