In the apocalyptic grand metropolis of Torontréal, in the year 5780, Ester and her uncle Mordekhai, along with Vashti, Haman, and his son, are all living through starkly different pandemic realities.

What do Black Lives Matter protests have to do with COVID? What do Indigenous liberation struggles have to do with the housing crisis? Are white middle class Jews ready to give up their relative comfort and show up for class and anti-racist struggles? Can puppets really hold all the answers?

This modern iteration of the Purim Story has been described by audiences as "beautiful", "funny", and "too real". Content note for speaking frankly about deaths connected to systemic oppression.
