Presented by Shiri Dori Hacohen at Rasa's Level 3 AI Assistant Conference. Alan Turing's famous test is now a reality of our daily life. Twitter bots pass as human regularly, while real humans in some customer service roles must use proscribed templates that seem more rigid than the best chatbots. Some chatbots have long since passed the Turing Test; yet, conversational agents in general have a long way to go. We'll discuss when it does and doesn't make sense to pass the Turing Test, why it matters, and how chatbots past, present and future can pass the Turing Test.
