FEEL IN CONTROL OF YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR FINANCES, AND YOUR MENTAL WELLBEING
Whichever way you spin it, Christmas and the New Year is a pricey time of year, and this is especially relevant considering the impact of COVID-19 on the Australian economy and our mental health.
This is exactly why Victory Offices is thrilled to be hosting a virtual panel discussion on the topic. Three experts will guide business owners through how they can achieve their best this Christmas and well into the new year from a mental wellbeing and a financial perspective.
As business owners we are always taking care of everyone else, so time to check in with yourself and see how you are going.
WEBINAR SCHEDULE:
5-minute introduction on the speaker and topic
A 40-45-minute moderated discussion
5-minutes of questions from the attendees
PANEL SPEAKERS:
SIAN STEPHENS
Sian will be discussing the concept of change and how to handle it so you have the structures in place to move forward.
Sian was the first Women in Management board member for The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) UK Wessex Region from 2010 – 2013. She has enjoyed volunteer mentoring for Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) 2015 – 2017. She is currently a volunteer Mentor with Business in Heels and the Institute of Managers and Leaders Australia New Zealand.
Sian is passionate and inspired by the SME global marketplace and finds it to be where innovation and creativity are at its strongest, also where customer service and value for money is a priority. She works to support individuals and businesses to assess their own value, understand their potential, and learn how to voice in a way that will be heard and make a difference.
Through her qualifications and skills in coaching, mentoring, training, and facilitation gained over the last 20 years, she brings a wealth of knowledge that she enjoys sharing to ensure everyone has the best opportunities to love and enjoy success in their business.
KATE RICHARDS
Kate will discuss the sort of issues families can face at Christmas and how to navigate those.
Sher Richards Legal is a boutique family law firm, led by Kate Richards, a top family lawyer. A relationship breakdown can turn your world upside down. We advise you on what to expect, your legal rights and entitlements, options, and ensure the best possible outcome is achieved in a cost-effective and timely manner. We guide you through your property settlement, help negotiate parenting rights, prepare your divorce application, and negotiate at mediation or in the family law courts.
After working in large city-based, fee-focused firms, we saw the need for more personalised legal care, and so Sher Richards Legal was born. We quickly built a reputation as empathetic lawyers offering accessible, practical family law advice. Regardless of our client’s location or need, our goals are the same – to listen to what you want and provide sound legal advice so you can make informed decisions to protect your interests.
SARAH HUDSON
Sarah will discuss the cost savings and opportunities to put money back in your pocket right.
Sarah Hudson has worked in administration, tourism and semi-government departments as well as not for profit organisations. Her experience includes management and bookkeeping, and employment.
Sarah has been a business owner for over 20 years including The Clean Team project which enables Sarah to employ approximately 30 staff in a 6-month contract each year, one which she is proud to be associated with, recruiting mainly long term unemployed and older workers who find it challenging to find alternative employment.
In 2015 Sarah attained her Certificate in Finance and Mortgage Broking and in 2017 Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking. Sarah is passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals and works with clients to purchase a new home or investment property, refinance due to changes in financial situations, and also is able to arrange business, motor vehicle, asset, and other types of finance. Sarah has also developed a program of financial mentoring to assist women to reach their financial potential – following a customized step by step plan to help with debt reduction, savings plans or simply setting a budget and learning about what financial opportunities exist.
