"You are what you eat” is a phrase familiar to many but what do you really know about food systems and diets? This course examines the complex interactions between food systems, diets, and the environment, as well as the political, social, and ethical issues to achieve both human and planetary health. In Session 6, Jessica Fanzo – the Bloomberg Distinguished Associate Professor of Global Food and Agriculture Policy and Ethics at the Berman Institute of Bioethics, the Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies – examines how we can achieve healthy, sustainable, and equitable food systems on the systemic level.
