EDIT: It has come to our attention that in this video, Nikki incorrectly referred to people from Taiwan as "Chinese" and Taiwan as "China".

We understand that this is considered a grave insult, and we would like to express our sincerest apologies for mistakenly identifying the Taiwanese people in this way.
We would also like to appolgize for mistakenly stating Tesla does not use Radar in its vehicles. It does. It does not use LIDAR.

Any accident involving a Tesla, especially one that's allegedly operating in Autopilot mode, is considered big news by many outlets. And an accident in Taiwan this weekend seems to have met the criteria for that -- at least according to some outlets.

But as we're about to explain, there's a lot of contextual understanding we need to bear in mind for each and every one of these over-publicized accidents that can teach us a lot about autonomous vehicles and how they're abused.
