In this video Josh and Brenna from Space Coast EV Drivers head over to a local VW dealer for a test drive of their newest electric vehicle the ID4. As model Y owners we compared the VW ID4 to the Model Y during our overview video, interior review of the electric VW ID4, on our test drive of the VW ID4, and while the sales person walked us through the screens, menus, and options. We were pretty shocked by his ability to answer all our questions and we thought he was very well trained on the EV.

While the new VW ID4 is comfortable and we loved some features like the sunshade for the panoramic roof and the three years of free charging some of the features like the massage chair are under whelming. Not to mention on the ID4 you are still stuck on the electrify America charging network, and the 0-60 and storage are all areas where the LR Model Y pulls ahead.

Overall the VW ID4 is a decent EV but nothing that really wowed us except the sun shade and the EV specialist!
