The "Bitcoin Halving", an event that takes place every 210,000 blocks (approximately every 4 years), will be taking place on May 11th.
This is earlier than originally projected. As recently as a few weeks ago, it was estimated to take place on May 12th but due to the miners mining blocks at a faster rate than originally estimated, the event will take place on May 11th instead.
The Bitcoin halving is a historic event in Bitcoin which takes place every four years and is part of the "controlled supply" of bitcoins as it reduces the number of bitcoins created with every new block.
