Vermintide is a co-op horde shooter, only melee instead of shooting. However, what happens when you're one of the best players in the world and the hardest difficulties are easy for you? The Onslaught Captain's Series is a monthly event hosted by the best players in the world, who recruit and then train teams of promising players in order to compete against one another for prizes in a specially modded ultra high difficulty mode.

Follow the story of Aqshy, a player who discovered these events, then built a Tournament around them, including live events on Twitch with professional casters, community festivals and events, artwork and fanfictions, and an organization that draws more viewers than the official game channels, and then was hired by the game developer to run their community.
