Every student goes on a mission placement at a WEC Missionary Training College. We checked in with Ruth: here’s what she has to say about her placement:

“We also did a placement in Germany this year and we’ve actually just come back from there.* It was really encouraging to see the work with refugees and to see people also open to the Gospel even where you don’t expect it. One thing we did was helping children with their homework. In doing the homework sometimes discussions came up, even about faith topics, and so it opened up the door to share something about our Christian faith with those children who came and that was very encouraging to see, and to see how much you can do in a setting that is not mainly focussed on evangelism but still opens up doors to reach out to children or to people.”
