Do we live in a world that is unfairly tilted in favour of men over women? Over generations males have grown up feeling a sense of entitlement towards wielding authority. Patriarchy is a curse that deny women a level playing field at being equals in society. Male supremacy & chauvinism is a reality of which at times even men are victims. Masculinity is a dominant trait but how would a planet minus male dominance be? What do we observe in nature among other primate species like the chimpanzee and bonobo? Feminist & gender equality movements worldwide have made us all aware of the extent of misogyny. It is prevalent in every society. The Chancellor of Germany, Agela Merkel, President of Taiwan Tsai Ing-wen, Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin, Prime Minister of Iceland Katrin Jakobsdottir, Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Belgium Sophie Wilmes, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen and Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern have all demonstrated that women have a different approach to problem solving. Compassion is a trait that patriarchs lack, and most male world leaders suffer from the same. Is it possible the world would be a better place if women were in charge?
