Wonder (https://wonder.me) is a new video conferencing platform. Whether you want to teach, host networking events, or just socialise, Wonder could replace Zoom. But why? Are there any disadvantages to Zoom in the first place?

Since launching in 2020, Wonder has been used by Harvard, NASA, Amazon, and over 200,000 others around the world. Wonder has the unique feature of proximity chat, where you are in a virtual space and you can only speak to people if you go up to them. This sounds complicated , but it's actually pretty simple, as I explain in today's video. I go over the problems with Zoom (especially breakout rooms), how Wonder solves them, demonstrate how to use it, and talk about some disadvantages of Wonder. I'm all about that balanced argument.
