Vadodara, May-2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) successfully completed the second phase of relief work for the migrants and slum dwellers in Vadodara; mostly reaching to the families of adolescent girls and young women. Both the phases of the relief work were financially supported by Mix for Kids, Germany.
A total number of 3,500 people were helped during this last one month as part of the covid-19 relief operations. Fr George Miranda (Director – Snehalaya) along with Ms Jagruti Patil (Coordinator – DBDS) and a number of other staff successfully executed this task. During this entire relief work social distancing and other government compliances were strictly adhered to. Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) speaking on the occasion thanked Mix for Kids for their financial support. He also congratulated Fr Miranda and the team for the great job.
