Chinchwad (Pune), July 2020: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in joint collaboration with Don Bosco Mission Bonn (Germany) helped widows and physically challenged by distributing relief kits containing ration and toiletries. A total number of 4500 poor and needy are being helped in Mumbai and Pune through this joint collaboration.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) speaking on the occasion thanked Don Bosco Mission Bonn for the financial support. Social distancing and other government compliances were strictly adhered to during this entire process. Since most of the physically challenged could not personally come to collect their relief kits and hence their family members collected the relief kits on their behalf.

Since April 2020 DBDS has DIRECTLY touched the lives of more than 1,30,000 poor and needy – providing for their basic needs during this challenging time of Covid-19 pandemic.
