Den chinesischen Hersteller NIO gibt es schon seit 2018, in China hat er schon knapp 88.000 Modelle verkauft. Das Besondere an den NIO E-Autos ist, dass sie um die Hälfte günstiger sind als vergleichbare Modelle von Tesla - und das obwohl einige Quellen im Netz behaupten, dass NIO Tesla technisch überholt hat. Könnte NIO mit seinen günstigen Preisen Elon Musks E-Autos vom Markt verdrängen? Und wie ist es überhaupt möglich, dass NIO die Autos so günstig anbieten kann?
