A Bitrise User Group is a community-organized meetup of local Bitrise users, with the aim of learning, teaching, connecting, and becoming better at Bitrise. Speaking at a BUG is a great way to share some knowledge, gather feedback on your workflows or just connect to the wider Bitrise community. We welcome speakers from all around the world with all levels of experience.

Host: Kevin Toms, Developer Advocate at Bitrise
Kevin is a very experienced Software Developer who has worked in all aspects of software development. He has completed successful projects for organisations as large as IBM and City of London banks, as well as small start up operations. For many years a specialist in mobile, with a focus on cross-platform development, Kevin is also an award-winning computer games designer. He recently joined Bitrise as Developer Advocate.

1️⃣ Utility workflows by Karol Wrótniak
Utility workflows allows you to reuse group of Bitrise Steps without copying entire configurations. I will show on a live demo how to define and use utility Workflows. Additionally I will describe some limitations as well.

2️⃣ Firebase TestLab Continuous UI testing in Android using Bitrise by Wisdom Nwokocha
I will talk about the Firebase TestLab Step in Bitrise and how to set it up and configure it to automate the process of testing your Android project UI after pushing to your preferred code hosting platform like Github, Bitbucket, or Gitlab.

3️⃣ Parallelize Android UI Tests with Bitrise, Flank and Firebase Test Lab by Moataz Nabil
Testing solutions have become more scalable than ever as organizations moved to test automation from manual testing. But, one area that most organizations are still struggling with: the scalability to run multiple tests in parallel.
Many teams are still using sequential testing methods, which takes a lot of time. In this talk, I will help you realize the importance of parallel testing in your release cycle. I'll talk about parallel testing by share your tests on multiple devices and how to scale your Android UI Tests with Flank, Firebase Test Lab, and Bitrise CI/CD workflow.
