We launched a series of events devoted to the top C-level challenges and concerns of international businesses. it’s not always a CEOs meetup, but rather a leader amongst leaders.
This particular episode is a special one and the title says it. We’ll discuss various topics regarding women in executive leadership and the various journeys.
The Fortune 500 list included a record number of female CEOs in 2020. Before you get too excited, realize this: women run only 37 (just 64 named in the 60+ year history of the ranking) of the 500 companies, which would be 16.5% — a figure that’s clearly far lower than the general population. Only 12 women are on the top 100 list of the Forbes, 6 of them run their fathers business.
Today, 44 percent of companies have three or more women in the C-suite, up from 29 percent of companies in 2015. Over the last five years, the number of women entrepreneurs has grown at a rate that is nearly twice as fast as the overall growth in female entrepreneurship: 39% compared to 21%, respectively.
The discussion with panelists from innovative tech companies will focus on the role women play in today’s business world. We will be touching on the following questions:
Personal journey(s) on the way to reaching the C-Suite
The most interesting, challenging, and rewarding experience within speakers’ industry and role
The main soft vs hard skills that women need to move into leadership regardless of the industry
Tips and advice for women who want to advance their career
Fun facts about panelists etc.
