The US panel was produced in partnership with the University of California, Irvine and Oregon State University. Following introductory remarks from Bill Maurer, Dean of the School of Social Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, the panel is chaired by Dr Catherine Bolzendahl.

Dr Bolzendahl is a Professor of Sociology at Oregon State University. Her panellists include:
- Dr Sreyram Kuy, MD (Surgeon, Health Policy Leader and Healthcare Executive)
- Mary Carlin Yates (Ambassador, ret.)
- Bernadette Boden-Albala (Director & Founding Dean, Program in Public Health)
- Julie Hill (Corporate Director, Anthem Lord Abbett Mutual Funds)
- Karen Toliver (Executive Vice President of Creative, Sony Pictures Animation)

Our 3rd Global Conversation on International Women's Day 2021 raised important points around women in leadership across cultures and continents, but also the fact that complexities of being a woman in any industry are much more nuanced in terms of the challenges we face amongst other women, how we lead as women. More than 60 speakers debated simultaneously across the world how we can move the needle on women's issues.
