Having established himself as Progressive Trance (Protonica) producer Piet Kämpfer explores a new contemporary direction into Melodic Techno. Now based in Berlin, Piet uses his experience in writing melodies, leads and sequences for Protonica to form his new style a combination of Techno and Elements of Trance. Because of his roots in Berlin, Techno is and has been part of his life and inspiration for a long time. In the past, melodies were frowned upon in techno, but now with the new music genre "Melodic Techno", the mostly rather minimal beats are combined with the harmonic to create something new. In a world that is becoming more complex and darker, "Melodic Techno" brings the simple but also the positive back into music and thus creates a new zeitgeist.

Chris Zippel is born and raised in Berlin and has spent his adult life between his home town and the island of Ibiza. Entering the music world at the age of 15 and has been an industry professional for his entire adult life. He has written music with the Pet Shop Boys, produced with Robbie Williams, Schiller, Snap, Jose Padiila, Norah Jones, Paul Van Dyk, the German Band Ich & Ich and the singer Adel Tawil. Early and throughout his career he has created and supported underground Projects & DJs from all over the world. Chris likes Pinacoladas, and getting caught in the rain.
