USPTO University Outreach Series

This free public forum examines the future of invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the United States, with a special focus on the role of universities.

The featured speaker is USPTO Director Andrei Iancu, who serves as Vice-Chair of the recently established National Council for Expanding American Innovation. The Council works to promote inclusiveness in innovation and increase the development and participation of underrepresented groups as inventors and entrepreneurs.

Director Iancu answers questions from the audience after his remarks.

Regional Director Hope Shimabuku discusses the ongoing efforts and initiatives of the Texas Regional USPTO.

Professor Saurabh Vishnubhakat of Texas A&M serves as moderator.
